International Off-Road Day, initiated by Can-Am, is back for the second year on Saturday, October 8, and it’s bigger and better than before! It’s a day for off-roaders around the world to celebrate their love of getting outdoors and getting out to the places that they love the most. This year, Can-Am is donating to organizations around the globe to help make a positive impact in the communities where we ride. International Off-Road Day welcomes all riders of all skill levels to make memories along the way in their favorite off-road vehicles and embrace the spirit of Off-Road Livin’.

“We are dedicated to making International Off-Road Day a truly global celebration of our passion for riding. ” said Julie Tourville, Director Global Marketing, Can-Am Off-Road at BRP. “This year, we are also taking a stand to make sure everyone feels like they belong in the Off Road Livin’ riding community by donating to organizations that support safety, riding etiquette and safeguarding the environment. We truly believe in our Responsible Rider and Ride out Intimidation programs that have been created so that more people can continue to join the community each year and ultimately join us in the future.”

Travis Pastrana will take part in rides in places like the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia, Chile, Sweden and Brazil. Can-Am is encouraging others to organize group rides with friends and family locally. And of course, don’t forget the principles of the Responsible Rider program and be good stewards of the land.

Can-Am will be returning to Sand Hollow Trail Hero in Hurricane, Utah with racers, brand ambassadors and other fun activities. The event is built around joining together the drive for more access and awareness to our trail system and sport. Trail Hero is built with everyone in mind, which is an important part of International Off-Road Day and Can-Am’s commitment to making a lasting and positive impact in the communities where we ride.
