If it seems Polaris wins just about everything when it comes to side-by-side racing with their potent RZR line, you wouldn’t be too far from the truth. However, with the introduction of the Arctic Cat Wildcat, and more recently the Wildcat Trail and Trail Limited, the competition has put Polaris on notice that they are coming. Proof of this is the strong showing and class win Arctic Cat had this past weekend in round 6 WORCS series action. Here’s the official report from Cat:

Team Arctic/D&P Performance race team consisting of Karl Munford, Dean Bulloch and Stacey Pike have sent a clear message that the 60-inch wide Wildcat Sport Limited continues to be competitive straight off the showroom floor.

Fresh off a 2nd place King of the Hammers podium in the Pro UTV Class, the D&P Performance team built three Wildcat Sport Limited’s in three days to compete in Round 6 of the WORCS series. The fruit of their labor was nothing but success as Karl Munford won the 700 Production Class while Stacey Pike and Dean Bulloch finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in 900 Production.

Dean Bulloch said on the podium, “These Wildcat Sports continue to amaze us. We literally pulled these three units off the showroom floor and prepped them to race spec in three days. To get a win and two podiums says something about the durability and capability of these 60-inch Arctic Cat UTVs.”

“We are impressed and proud of the D&P Performance team success in the Production classes at WORCS, said Greg Williamson, Arctic Cat Chief Marketing Officer. “It highlights what this team is capable of in a short timeframe, and it shows the capability of our Wildcat Sport Limited’s off the showroom floor.”

The next stop on the 2015 WORCS tour is July 31-August 2nd, 2015, at Straddeline ORV in McCleary, WA.
